Ahoy Mateys!

Get ready to take the Huron River by storm for the Ann Arbor Ski Club Kayak Event! Dress and talk like a pirate as we voyage down the river, sharing bounty and liquid delectables along the way.

This is a MEMBER'S ONLY event.

Event Details:

Date: Monday, September 7 (Labor Day)
Cost: FREE (vessel rentals are on your own*)

This is a kayak event from Argo Park to Gallup Park on the Huron River. Kayaks can be rented from the Argo Park livery on a first come first serve basis. THEY WILL NOT TAKE RESERVATIONS AHEAD OF TIME.

$28 - single kayak rental
$35 - double kayak rental

Schedule:

12:00 PM: Meet at the Argo Park Livery. This gives time to rent your Pirate vessel (if needed) and gather with the crew. There will be special Grogg for all who dress and talk like a pirate or wench.
12:45- 1:00 PM: Launch from Argo Park

There is a free shuttle at Gallup Park that will take you back to your cars.

4:00 PM: Any hearty souls who survive the voyage can continue past Gallup Park to the banks of the Alden/Salisbury hideaway for a celebratory after-party and feast.

After-Party Details:

Time: 4:00 PM
Location: Lisa Salisbury and Jeff Alden's home (address will be sent after you sign up).
Food & Drink: Hot dogs and condiments will be supplied. Please bring a dish to pass and your favorite drinks.
