The club is excited to offer the following Mediterranean cruise...

Departing Barcelona October 8, returning October 18 2027, with the following itinerary: Barcelona - Naples, Sicily, Rome, Florence/Pisa, Portofino, Nice, Barcelona.

Sign-ups will begin online on Saturday April 11 at Noon.

At this time, we are only taking reservations for the cruise itself, and the deposit of $250 per person will be fully refundable if you elect to back out. Details will be in the contract. Rooms reserved range in price between $4,084 - $4,614 per person. Airfare will be an added option when it becomes available in the fall, and a possible pre or post stay in Barcelona is being evaluated.

Boat:   Travel will be on the Celebrity XCEL, one of their newer ships.

Rooms:   Ocean View and Veranda class rooms are available. Selection of specific rooms will be available when you make your first payment to SportsAmerica (April 11 - Sep 1st).

Options:   

• Once registered with the cruise, you will be able to book and pay for ship sponsored excursions in each port.
• Airfare options will become available in the fall of 2026 and will be offered to all participants
• Trip Insurance (Highly Recommended) will be available when registering with SportsAmerica
• Pre and Post hotel options are being reviewed. When registering at SportsAMerica, be sure to check the appropriate boxes to be kept in the loop. There will be no formal tours or group activities pre or post, but Barcelona is a wonderful town for self guided activities and experiencing the work of Gaudi. Bring the Rick Steves Spain or Barcelona guide book and explore the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Hop on/Hop off bus, Montserrat Monastery  and Casa Batlo,

PAYMENTS

Trip Deposit will be made via credit card to the ski club website and will be subject to a surcharge. All future payments will be made to Sportsamerica and can be done via credit card (with surcharge) or via check. Important Note. The deposit will give you space on the trip. The first payment will guarantee you a specific room and room type. You may cancel the cruise up until May 2027, with a refund of the cruise money (minus a small fee). Additional options such as airfare and hotel will have their own payment schedules and cancellation clauses. See details on contract for more information..

Valid Traveler Information Required

MEMBERS MUST VERIFY THAT THEIR DATA IS CORRECT IN THE AASC MEMBERSHIP DATABASE. Full name, including middle, and birthday must match Enhanced Driver's License (US) or Passport (International trips). Trip rosters will be populated using the AASC database and failure to verify your information may lead to problems at trip departure. If you are missing any information, please update it ASAP in your member profile and with the trip leader.
