A new way to receive club announcements! |
|
The Ann Arbor Ski Club texting service for members is now operational and available for sign-up. To use this optional service you must opt in by updating your A2SC membership profile. |
Here's How...

Log into the A2SC website
(Hint - Use the email address where you received this eBlast)
Once logged in follow these steps
- Click the large red “Edit Profile” box
- Head down to “We would like to send you relevant text messages”
- To read the consent agreement click the link that says “I consent to receive text messages. From….”
Note, it will open in a separate window. - Return to the original window to consent to the agreement by checking the box next to the link. Leave blank if you do not agree or do not want to receive text messages.
- Return to the top of the page and click the large red “Save” box
- To log out click the person icon in the upper right corner and select “Log Out”
After that look forward to receiving your first text alert in the next few days |

The publication schedule for the new newsletter is every other Wednesday at 5:00 PM ET, but also on the Wednesdays preceding a General Meeting.

The Ann Arbor Ski Club has been publishing newsletters since 1954. Most of them were called The Ann Arbor Ski Club Newsletter. |
|
|
To be included in an upcoming newsletter it is necessary to complete your submission 48 hours prior to publication, (Submit by Monday at 5 PM.) Send your contribution to Anne Gilbert.

SE Michigan Snowsports Swap Meet Schedule

Bob Cowen of the Alpine Valley Ski Patrol has produced another calendar of swap meets in Southeast Michigan. He has been doing this for several years now and is the authoritative source for where and when to find a Skier's Swap Meet. He updates his report as needed and it is here. |

The A2SC Mobile App
|
The Ann Arbor Ski Club has a mobile app. It runs on IOS and Android. Jeff Carpenter has written a nice piece on the advantages of having club info at your fingertips and how to download the app. |

Members have reported problems with the app. An upgrade will correct the issue. You have to delete it from your phone, then reload. |
