Corn Roast is Sunday,
August 23

Please plan to join us for the Corn Roast:

Sunday, August 23, 2-6 pm

Montibeller Park

4305 Ellsworth Rd, Ypsilanti, MI 48197

There are TWO parking lots at Montibeller Park. We encourage you to park at the East parking lot, behind the fire station.

As usual, the club will provide corn, hot dogs & condiments, beer, wine, soft drinks & water, plus table service. Please bring a dish to pass.

Festivities will include:

$5 for members, $10 for guests.
No $50 or $100 bills, please!

Shanty Creek

(AKA Instructional) Trip Signups at Corn Roast

Signups for the Shanty Creek (AKA Instructional) Trip will begin at the Corn Roast on Sunday!

Once again, we will be at Schuss/Shanty Creek the second weekend in January (8-10). 


The trip includes lodging, two breakfasts, a Friday night happy hour, a Saturday dinner buffet, and a free ski lesson for Ann Arbor Ski club members. Pricing options for downhill and cross-country skiers and non-skiers.

Openings for one female on Snowmass and Vail Trips 

The Snowmass and Vail trips each have an opening for one female to share a room, but not a bed.


For Snowmass, contact Greg Robertson or Cheryl Anderson.


For Vail, contact Jim Kelly or Lisa Salisbury.

Pirates Of The Huron River - Kayak Event

Ahoy Mateys! Get ready to take the Huron River by storm for the Ann Arbor Ski Club Kayak Event! Dress and talk like a pirate as we voyage down the river, sharing bounty and liquid delectables along the way. After-Party at Lisa Salisbury & Jeff Alden's home.

Event Details:

  • Date: Monday, September 7 (Labor Day)
  • Cost: FREE (vessel rentals are on your own)
  • Hosts- Lisa Salisbury & Jeff Alden

Terrace Inn Signups
at September 10 Meeting 

Terrace Inn signups will begin at the September 10 meeting. The website will be updated shortly with all the relevant information. Please print and fill out a contract prior to the meeting.

CMSC Ski Trips

The Ann Arbor Ski Club is part of the Chicago Ski Council, and as such our members are allowed to go on other club's trips. Here's a link to the CMSC website. The Duneland club has asked us if any of our members would like to go on their trip to Sun Valley. Details are on our website here.

New Vendor for Ski Club Clothing

Here's the link to purchase ski club clothing.

A2SC Mobile App

The Ann Arbor Ski Club has a mobile app.  It runs on IOS and Android.  Jeff Crawford has written a nice piece on how to download the app.

Members have reported problems with the app.  An upgrade will correct the issue.  You have to delete it from your phone, then reload.
