Please join us at the Aloha Party tomorrow,
May 21 at 7:00 pm at the UA Hall, 7920 Jackson Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48103
Festivities include: - Sign Ups for the 2027 Western Ski Trips (details below)
- Delicious food (BBQ pork, mac & cheese, coleslaw, baked beans and more) and the usual beverages
- Dancing to the band Invasion

2027 Out West Trips Sign Up Procedure for May 21, 2026, Aloha Party
- You must be a member of the club to sign up for trips. Membership renewals started May 1.
- We recommend that you download and fill out the trip registration form from the AASC website prior to the meeting.
- Doors will open at 7:00 for members to enter the party. You must pay your $5 entrance fee before proceeding.
- Each trip table will have a clipboard that members can put their name on to “sign up” for the trip. If the trip is filled, you can put your name on the waitlist.
- Board members and trip leaders may sign up starting at 6:30. Volunteers working at 7:00 can sign up starting at 6:55.
- Each member may sign up one additional member
Registration Process
- Get a copy of the trip sign up form, either ahead of time from the website or from the trip leader.
- Read and sign both pages.
- IMPORTANT: make sure all your information in the membership database is correct, including the legal spelling of your name. This information will be used for airline tickets, and any mistakes may result in denied boarding.

Payment:
- If paying by check, return the form and check to the trip leader. You are done.
- If not paying by check, go to the payment desk to complete your deposit payment and have your form signed. Credit cards and other electronic methods (Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.) are the preferred methods. All payments except for checks will incur a 3% service charge. Return to the trip leader to be registered for the trip.
If you do not return by 8:30 with your completed paperwork, your name can be moved to the bottom of the signup list.
Online Signups
- Online signups for members will begin on Saturday, May 23 on the Ski Club Website (A2skiclub.org) with a credit card
- Affiliate clubs will be allowed to sign up for trips beginning on Saturday, May 30 by contacting the trip leader directly.
Cancellation
Trip cancellation policy is available on the website. If you cancel by the Corn Roast, you will be subject to a $35 cancellation fee. After that point, you are responsible for any charges that the ski club cannot recover (airline fares, lodging, etc.)

CMSC Ski Trips The Ann Arbor Ski Club is part of the Chicago Ski Council, and as such our members are allowed to go on other club's trips. The Duneland club has asked us if any of our members would like to go on their trip to Sun Valley. Details are on our website here.

The Ann Arbor Ski Club has a mobile app. It runs on IOS and Android. Jeff Crawford has written a nice piece on how to download the app. Members have reported problems with the app. An upgrade will correct the issue. You have to delete it from your phone, then reload. |
