Congratulations to us all!!! We have extra funds left over from a very successful year of Ann Abbor Ski Club Tennis. Normally, this amount was just a few hundreds and having one or two parties would take care of it. However, this year the amount is larger - possibly over $2,000 (not all receipts are in yet). So I am looking for your input on how best to spend this money. These funds were earned over the last year and the benefits would be limited to Ski-club Tennis League participants from Fall 2008, Winter 2008-2009, and Spring 2009 equally.

Here are some additional details on how I envision these options taking place:
Schedule Group Tennis Lessons & Tennis Parties - select 2 or 3 dates in the near future and schedule a group tennis lesson with several pros (keeping student/coach ratio ~ 4:1). Allow sign-up for one of the dates. Finalize dates and numbers based on signup results. Add a party as well if budget allows.
Leave Money in Ski Club Tennis Funds - This money can be used to keep the cost of Ski-Club Tennis league down in 2009-2010 season or issue refunds to past participants.
Support Local Tennis Tournaments - donate money to AACTA to support its local activities such as Ann Arbor City Tournament. As a donor we would get our name on the tournament T-shirt! We also can check into the possibility of establishing a tennis award for a K-12 student.
