No Approved  2020-2021 Ski Trips

...For Now

The BOD  disapproved trips proposed by the Ski Trips Committee on the grounds that it was too great a risk at this time.

The Trip Planning Committee and BOD still hope to put together a Schuss Instructional trip, one to Terrace Inn, and one or more Out West.

They plan on revisiting the issue in August or September when we'll be closer to prospective travel dates. And, we'll be further along in the world's response to the Covid pandemic.

Club Communications
The C Team

Dennis Slough is starting his 3rd year as A2SC Communications Coordinator, handling tasks such as editing the weekly newsletter and updating our web site.

Other members of the C Team extend the club's communication reach to Facebook and Meetup.

Dennis Slough, A2SC Communications Coordinator

Donna Sagonowsky supports our presence on Facebook.  Donna is also club Veep, a Director on the Board, and occasional Ski Trip Leader.

Nancy Marcotte helps us deliver our message to  the Meetup world.  Nancy is another Board Director, Chair of the Membership Committee and frequent leader of area cycling events.

How to C-Team

Three people and yack-all hats!   Perhaps they want some help.  Contact your editor here if you've got a C talent you'd like to share.  He's looking for techie and writing help.  Or, contact Donna or Nancy.  They can put you to work too.   Nancy would like to pass on Meetup tasks as soon as possible.

This is a particularly easy time to get started since for the time being we aren't scheduling lots of events and we're likely to restart slowly.

Membership Year Extended

  • The club's Board of Directors elected to extend current memberships until 31-AUG-2020.
  • The membership fee for the 2020 - 2021 season has not been set.
  • Membership renewal will not begin until after 1-AUG-2020.

NOT YET!

To get on the list click through to the event

Download, fill out, and send in your application with a check.

The check will be held until closer to the event.  If the bike trip happens your check will get cashed.  If not, the check gets destroyed.

It's the simplest procedure for these uncertain times.

Do You Log In?

...to our web server

If you do you will see a small pop-up window telling you that your membership expired.

But, it hasn't really.  The BOD extended membership until the end of August.

This only affects members who log in, i.e. about 60 members.  The new membership year starts on September 1, 2020.
