OSCODA SPRING ADVENTURE TRIP

CANOEING, HIKING & GOLF

JUNE 20^th- 22^nd 2008

 

Arm yourself it’s time again for another fun filled weekend in Oscoda at the AmericInn on the Au Sable River.  This year our theme will be “Margaritville” so pack your Hawaiian shirts, margarita mix and lei’s.  Prepare for some fun on the “Margaritaville Express”.  The trip includes a pre party, 2 nights lodging, generous wine and appetizer party Friday night plus 4 hrs of canoeing Saturday on the Au Sable River, box lunch provided, bring your own beverage.  Hike on any of the many scenic trails in the Huron National Forest.  We recommend the Highbanks trail to the Lumberman’s monument and the 300-step stairway to Cooke pond in Iargo Springs.  Golf is available on your own at any 1 of 3 unique courses located at Lakewood Shores Resort.  Once again we have the Hospitality Suite reserved on Friday & Saturday.  Saturday dinner will be at the Au Sable Inn at your own expense follow by dancing the night away, swimming or simply relaxing in the Hot Tub.  Sign ups begin at the March 1st meeting.

Cost - $115.00 member’s double occupancy and $125.00 non-member double occupancy

Cost - $189.00 member’s single occupancy and $199.00 non-member single occupancy

Greenbush - For 9 holes $9 walk, $17 ride – 18 holes $16 walk, $25 ride 

Lakewood Shores - Seradella course 18 holes for $35 walking or add $15 for a cart fee.
