Join us this year, at a new location, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, south of Cleveland. You'll be able to ride your bike (hybrid or mountain recommended, path is crushed limestone) along 20 miles of the old Towpath of the Ohio & Erie Canal, which parallels the Cuyahoga River. For more miles, paved paths are available by connecting to the Cleveland Metro Parks. There are also many miles of hiking trails in the park, beautiful waterfalls to view, and you can ride the Scenic Railroad, that runs through the park. We'll be staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Richfield, for 2 nights. The trip also includes a pre-party, two breakfasts, and a Wine & Cheese party on Friday night. Dinner reservations will be made for Saturday night, that cost is not included.
Sign ups, for 36 people, start at the Corn Roast, and end at the general meeting on September 24.
Cost is $100 for members and $115 for non-members. Since Monday is Columbus Day, you may want to stay over and the Hotel has agreed to extend our special rate.
